Fraktur Dropcaps & Type
I created this series of drop caps for the annual 36 Days of Type event (2022 edition). I was inspired by Fraktur blackletter calligraphy - the letterforms are based on my own slightly quirky calligraphic hand.
The set uses one base letter style, with 4 decorative themes and a limited color palette.
Additionally, I created a typeface (currently in draft) based on the letterforms in this project.
